An Israeli army drone on Tuesday struck a car in southern Lebanon, leaving several people injured, the Lebanese official news agency NNA reported.
The car was reportedly hit by a guided missile near the town of Ghandouriyeh. According to the Lebanese, agency, ambulances rushed to the scene to evacuate the injured.
No further details were released about the condition and the number of injured people.

The Lebanese health authorities are yet to comment on the incident.
The development comes as the Israeli army on Monday assassinated Wissam al-Tawil, a senior military commander in the Hezbollah group.
Last week, an Israeli drone assassinated the deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, Saleh al-Arouri in a southern suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut.
Since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, on October 7, the Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah has engaged directly, but relatively in a limited way in the war against the Israeli occupation.
Following the assassinations, tension has flared along the border between Lebanon and Israel, in the deadliest clashes since a full-scale war in 2006.
Israel launched an aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, following a military operation by the Palestinan Resistance Movement Hamas.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 23,210 Palestinians have been killed, and 59,167 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7. Palestinian and international estimates say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
