
Israeli forces and settlers escalated attacks across the West Bank, raiding cities, storming a mosque, and deploying tanks near Jenin.
Israeli occupation forces continued their military operations in the West Bank, raiding Nablus and Qalqilya early Monday, just hours after deploying tanks southwest of Jenin. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers attacked a mosque east of Nablus.
According to Al-Jazeera, Israeli forces entered multiple neighborhoods in Nablus and Qalqilya.
Palestinian media reported that the military raided a residential building near Al-Quds Open University, west of Nablus, while army vehicles advanced into the city from the 17th checkpoint.
Armed resistance groups reportedly engaged the invading forces near the eastern market, close to Nablus’s Old City.
In Qalqilya, local sources confirmed that occupation troops stormed the Kafr Saba neighborhood.
Settler Assault on Mosque
On Sunday night, during Tarawih prayers, illegal Israeli Jewish settlers attacked a mosque in Khirbet Tana, east of Beit Furik, Nablus. Palestinian worshippers were assaulted, and the mosque was vandalized.
Activist Thaer Hanani, present at the scene, told the Anadolu News Agency that a military Hummer without a license plate arrived carrying four illegal settlers dressed in Israeli army uniforms, accompanied by a small pickup truck belonging to settlement guards.

“The settlers confiscated our ID cards and phones, conducted thorough searches, and forced us to sit in the mosque courtyard for about an hour,” Hanani said.
He described how the settlers destroyed the mosque’s pulpit, poured oil, juice, and water over the carpets, and damaged electrical appliances and lighting. Hanani also noted that the village had already seen Israeli forces demolish homes 13 times, leaving only the mosque and a school standing.
According to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli actions since October 7, 2023, have displaced 311 Palestinian families—around 2,000 people—across 29 communities.
Israeli Tanks Advance in Jenin
In a further escalation, Israeli tanks entered areas of Al-Hadf, Wadi Burqin, and the vicinity of Burqin town, southwest of Jenin.
Al-Jazeera, citing local sources, reported that Israeli tanks fired randomly at vehicles and civilians as the Israeli army patrolled various parts of the Jenin Governorate.
Meanwhile, occupation forces raided Al-Far’a camp, south of Tubas, sending military reinforcements to the area. Soldiers searched homes, arrested several Palestinians, and positioned snipers on rooftops.

Since January, Israeli forces have intensified their operations across Palestinian cities and refugee camps in the northern West Bank, displacing tens of thousands and causing extensive destruction.
In the southern West Bank, two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire near Idhna and the Tarqumiya checkpoint, northwest of Hebron (Al-Khalil), according to Al-Jazeera.
Earlier, Israeli troops stormed Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron, detaining several staff members, seizing surveillance recordings, and arresting a security officer.
