Five Palestinian citizens were martyred in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, as the occupation forces persisted in their ceasefire violations for the 176th consecutive day.
Medical sources in Gaza reported in the morning that a young man with special needs was killed after being shot by Israeli forces in southern Khan Yunis. His body was transferred to Nasser Hospital.
At dawn Sunday, four Palestinians were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli strike that targeted a group of security personnel east of Gaza City.
Gaza’s civil defense service reported that four bodies and several wounded people were taken to hospitals following an airstrike in Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Eyewitnesses said an Israeli drone bombed a group of security personnel near al-Shawa Square in the neighborhood.
In northern Gaza, a woman was injured when Israeli forces opened fire at her in Beit Lahia.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation army launched different attacks on residential areas and displacement camps, sparking panic among displaced families.
