Three people were killed and others were injured on Sunday in an Israeli aerial attack on the town of Siddiqin as part of a series of intense airstrikes that targeted wide areas of southern Lebanon.
The towns of Kfar Dounin, Batoulay, ash-Shihabiyah, Ain Baal, Kafra, Siddiqin, and Wadi al-Hujeir witnessed a wave of overnight strikes.
The town of Kfar Hatta in the Sidon district was reportedly hit by more than six air raids. The strikes killed one person, injured several others, and caused extensive material damage.
On Saturday evening, an Israeli airstrike on the town of Kfar Hatta in southern Lebanon killed a displaced family of five, including three children.
The family had fled its home in Kfar Tebnit in the Nabatieh district seeking safety, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
The Israeli occupation army also launched artillery and aerial attacks on other areas of southern Lebanon last night and on Sunday morning.
