The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and injured a Palestinian young man and assaulted an ambulance crew in the West Bank on Saturday evening.
According to local sources, a young man was injured by gunfire from Israeli forces stationed near the separation wall in the town of Beit Aula, northwest of al-Khalil.
Soldiers opened fire at civilians, hitting the young man in the back. He was transferred to the hospital, where his condition was described as moderate, according to medical sources.
In southern Nablus, Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted Red Crescent paramedics during a raid in the town of Beita, where they also fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local residents.
In Ramallah, the IOF set up a military checkpoint at the western entrance of the village of al-Mughayir, blocking the movement of Palestinian vehicles in both directions. This entrance is the only access point to the village, as the eastern entrance has been closed for more than two years.
In separate incidents, extremist Jewish settlers launched attacks under military protection on the same day in Nablus and Ramallah, assaulting Palestinians and setting fire to property.
Media sources said that a horde of settlers stormed the southern area of al-Qusra town in southern Nablus and severely beat a young man, injuring him in the head.
The same settlers also set fire to two poultry pens in the town and prevented firefighters from entering the area to extinguish the flames.
Earlier, settlers attacked the western area of al-Qusra and attempted to attack homes, but local residents managed to fend them off before Israeli forces stormed the area and launched a teargas attack, injuring many people, including children.
In northern Ramallah, settlers attacked the eastern plain area of al-Mughayir village, but residents confronted them. Shortly afterward, Israeli forces stormed the village to provide protection for the attackers. No injuries or arrests were reported.
