The Israeli occupation army closed on Monday the Rafah border crossing anew, preventing another group of Gazan patients and their companions from leaving, and stranded citizens from returning to the Gaza Strip.
The Red Crescent reported that the World Health Organization (WHO) informed it of the suspension of medical and humanitarian evacuations through the Rafah crossing, without stating when travel operations might resume.
The decision came after Israeli forces attacked WHO vehicles on Salah al‑Din Road near Street 5 in Khan Yunis earlier today, killing an employee and injuring others.
