IOF injures young man in Jenin, settlers assault elderly man in J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and injured a Palestinian young man in southern Jenin, while extremist Jewish settlers assaulted an elderly man in east Jerusalem on Monday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed the town of Jaba in southern Jenin amid intensive gunfire, injuring a young man in his leg. He was rushed to the hospital for medical assistance.

Earlier, Israeli forces bulldozed hundreds of olive trees from Palestinian groves in the village of Marda, north of Salfit.

In northeastern Jerusalem, a horde of settlers attacked the village of Mikhmas and beat a 70-year-old citizen before a Red Crescent ambulance crew provided him with on-site first aid.

In another incident, settlers stormed swaths of Palestinian-owned land between the villages of Deir Ibzi and Safa, west of Ramallah, where they assaulted several farmers.
