The Israeli occupation army continued its ceasefire violations in Gaza Strip for the 178th consecutive day on Tuesday, carrying out artillery shelling and shooting attacks in different areas of the war-ravaged coastal enclave.
According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire and carried out artillery strikes east of Gaza City.
Artillery fire also targeted the eastern part of Gaza City’s az-Zeitoun neighborhood, as well as areas east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
Similar artillery and gunfire attacks happened in other areas of the Gaza Strip, with no reported casualties.
On Monday evening, 10 Palestinians were killed and dozens were wounded in an Israeli strike east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
