The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a campaign of raids and arrests on Wednesday in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Fajjar south of the city early at dawn, breaking into and ransacking several homes.
In Tubas, the IOF raided the city and kidnaped a municipal official from his home.
In al-Khalil, especially Masafer Yatta and the city’s southern areas, overnight skirmishes erupted between Israeli forces and local youths, raging until dawn.
During the clashes, soldiers fired tear gas canisters towards citizens’ homes, injuring several residents.
In Jerusalem, Israeli forces assaulted and kidnaped a young man in Abu Dis amid intensive police presence at the northern entrances of the holy city and near the separation wall.
In Nablus, Israeli forces escorting settlers stormed the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya and attacked citizens’ property before withdrawing in the early morning hours.
