A Palestinian young man and a little girl were martyred on Thursday in Israeli attacks in separate areas of the Gaza Strip, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 180th consecutive day.

According to media sources, a 13‑year‑old girl identified as Ritaj Rayhan was martyred after being shot by Israeli gunfire while she was inside an educational tent used as classroom in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

The young girl was attending lessons at Abu Obeida ibn al‑Jarrah School when she was suddenly struck by a bullet fired by Israeli forces.

A young man was also killed in an Israeli drone strike in al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. He was identified as 33-year-old Yousef Mansour.

In the afternoon, an elderly woman sustained injuries in an Israeli artillery attack on the east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Another woman was injured in her back by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles inside Tel az‑Zaatar School in Beit Lahia at dawn.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks opened heavy machinegun fire towards the eastern areas of Gaza, including in Khan Yunis.

The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that Israeli drones were flying intensively at low altitudes over Khan Yunis, amid relentless gunfire northeast of the city.
