Hamas warns of escalating Israeli crimes in West Bank and Jerusalem, calls for unity

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has warned of a dangerous and unprecedented escalation in violations by Israeli occupation forces and settlers across the West Bank and Jerusalem, calling for unity to confront them.

Hamas political bureau member Hussam Badran said on Friday that the ongoing closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the denial of access to Palestinian worshipers are part of sustained efforts by the occupation to impose control and alter the identity of the holy site.

He stressed the need to intensify presence and mobilization around the Mosque, urging Palestinians not to delay in defending it against what he described as Israeli plans.

Badran added that Israeli raids and incursions across West Bank cities, towns, and villages aim to displace Palestinians and force them out of their homes, calling for resistance by all available means.

He also noted that these violations coincide with increasing attacks by settler groups across multiple areas, praising Palestinian youth for confronting the ongoing settler aggression.
