A Palestinian young man was martyred after being shot by Jewish settlers during their attack on the town of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Saturday evening.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 23-year-old Ali Hamadna was pronounced dead after a bullet pierced his back and chest during a settler attack on Deir Jarir.
The ministry explained that Hamadna arrived at Palestine Hospital in Ramallah in extremely critical condition before doctors announced his death soon later.
Local sources reported that a horde of armed settlers stormed the town of Deir Jarir, spread through its streets, and opened fire at residents, critically injuring the young man.
They added that Israeli forces stormed the town to provide protection for the settlers.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces confiscated two Palestinian-owned bulldozers while they were working to build an agricultural road in the town of Deir Ghassana, northwest of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the forces raided the al-Majdoub area of the town, prevented residents from building the road, and seized the bulldozers.
