Settlers set fire to home, IOF kidnaps Palestinians in W. Bank

Extremist Jewish settlers set fire to a Palestinian home, while the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out raids on several houses and kidnaped eight citizens in the West Bank at dawn Saturday.

In Nablus, settlers set fire to a house belonging to Mahmoud al-Dawabsheh in the northwestern part of Duma village before local residents managed to extinguish the flames and prevent major damage to the property.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed al-Ein refugee camp in western Nablus and raided homes, without making arrests.

In Qalqilya, a large number of Israeli troops withdrew from the town of Azzun, east of the city, after a raid that lasted more than two hours.

Local sources in Azzun said that Israeli forces broke into and ransacked several homes kidnaped at least seven young men, including ex-detainees.

In Jenin, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in the town of Beit Qad and stormed the town of Arraba, where they raided homes.

Violent IOF raids on homes also happened in Qalandia refugee camp north of Jerusalem, ad-Dheisha refugee camp south of Bethlehem, and al-Fari’ah refugee camp south of Tubas. No arrests have been reported.
