The soldiers reportedly fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the farmers and kidnaped two of them after smashing their mobile phones. In addition, they also destroyed the phone of another farmer in the area.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of al-Khalil, and assaulted a child, leaving him with bruises that were treated on-site.
The same forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards local residents as they tried to help the child.
