Several Palestinian citizens were injured and many others were kidnaped after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank on Sunday.
According to local sources, citizens suffered injuries after clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and Israeli forces in some West Bank areas.
In Nablus, a young man sustained shrapnel wounds in his head and a 14-year-old child was injured in the thigh after Israeli forces stormed the Old City and clashed with local youths.
According to local sources, Israeli soldiers opened fire at cars and assaulted young men during the IOF raid in the Old City of Nablus.
In southern al-Khalil, two young men were shot and injured by Israeli forces after being chased along the separation wall near the town of Beit Mirsim. Both were transferred to the hospital for medical assistance.
Meanwhile, the IOF stormed the town of Dura and spread around the government hospital.
Local sources reported that a number of young men were taken prisoner and others received summonses following IOF raids in the towns of Yatta and Dura, south of al-Khalil.
In northern Jerusalem, three citizens suffered from exposure to tear gas after Israeli police forces stormed the town of al-Ram shortly after midnight and attacked residents.
The forces reportedly kidnaped six Palestinians, including workers, during the raid in al-Ram town.
The Israeli police also carried out raids in the Old City of Jerusalem and around the Aqsa Mosque, where they kidnaped two young men in the areas of Bab Hitta and Bab al-Amud.
Israeli police raids also took place in the towns of Anata and Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem. The raids included wide-scale searches of homes and identity checks targeting young men.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped at least six citizens following a raid in al-Deheisha refugee camp, amid clashes with local youths.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and kidnaped several young men, especially in Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarem, Jericho and Tubas.
