Two brothers were killed, and a third was injured early Friday by Israeli fire east of Gaza City, as ceasefire violations persist.

A local source said that two brothers, residents of Jabalia al-Nazla, were killed and their brother injured after Israeli forces struck a water desalination station in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

According to the source, the two victims worked on a water truck and were targeted while heading to fill it.

Later, another Palestinian was killed, and several others were injured in an Israeli attack in the northern Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened machine-gun fire toward tents sheltering displaced people in Tel al-Dhahab in Beit Lahiya, killing one person and injuring several others.

Around five additional injuries were reported in separate incidents east of Khan Yunis and Gaza City due to Israeli fire.

Israeli artillery also shelled areas east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza and east of Gaza City.

Israeli military vehicles continued to open fire on multiple locations in eastern and northern parts of the Strip.

On Thursday evening, field sources reported that two civilians, including a child, were killed by Israeli gunfire in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City and in Khan Yunis in the south.

The PIC correspondent reported that the child, Saleh Badawi, was killed and others were injured after being shot on Kashko Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

In Khan Yunis, a man was killed after being shot by Israeli forces in the Ard al-Laymoun area south of the city.

Earlier in the day, another person died from wounds he had sustained days earlier in an Israeli strike that targeted a police vehicle on al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City.

This comes amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, with the number of casualties since it took effect in October 2025 reaching approximately 770 killed and 2,150 injured.
