IOF assaults Palestinian, kidnaps several others in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) assaulted a Palestinian citizen and kidnaped others in the West Bank and Jerusalem last night and at dawn Sunday.

According to the Red Crescent, a citizen sustained injuries after being beaten by Israeli soldiers near the Qalandia checkpoint, north of Jerusalem.

Israeli police forces reportedly kidnaped a young man after storming an apartment building in Shuafat refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

The IOF also stormed West Bank areas and kidnaped a number of citizens from their homes.

In Nablus, Israeli forces stormed the city from several directions, spreading in its streets and the Old City and firing stun grenades.

Two brothers from the family of Quqa were reportedly taken prisoner during the IOF raid in Nablus City.

A large number of Israeli troops also raided the towns of Beit Furik and Rujeib east of Nablus, with no reported arrests.

In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed the city and spread through its streets before kidnaping a young man from his home.

Israeli forces also raided the town of Azzun and the village of Immatin, east of Qalqilya, carrying out an arrest campaign that targeted several young men.

Local sources identified seven of the citizens who were kidnaped following the IOF raids in Azzun and Immatin.

The IOF stormed other areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem and carried out raids on several homes, with no reported arrests.
