At least two civilians were killed and others injured on Friday after Israeli forces targeted a group of people in the Sheikh Radwan area, west of Gaza City.

Local sources said an Israeli drone struck a police post in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing two people and injuring several others.

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that Israeli aircraft targeted a police patrol near the Sheikh Radwan Police Station in northwest Gaza City, leading to multiple fatalities and injuries.

In a separate incident, a young girl was wounded by Israeli gunfire early Friday in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, as ceasefire violations continue.

The Northern Gaza Medical Services Directorate said in a statement that its teams transferred a 10-year-old girl in critical condition to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after gunfire targeted residents and displaced people in the Beit Lahia Project area.

Eyewitnesses reported that the girl was shot in the head while inside Khalifa School, which is sheltering displaced families.

They added that Israeli military vehicles stationed north and east of Beit Lahia opened heavy fire starting Thursday evening, alongside artillery shelling in the surrounding area.

Israeli forces also opened fire toward neighborhoods in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israel has waged a war of genocide against Gaza’s population since October 7, 2023, with US and European support, engaging in widespread killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and mass arrests, while ignoring international calls and International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities. A ceasefire was brokered on October 10, 2025 but Israel violates its provisions on daily basis.

According to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of victims since the ceasefire began on October 10 has risen to 796, with 2,245 injuries and 761 recorded cases of bodies recovered.

The overall toll since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,568 killed and 172,338 injured, highlighting the heavy human cost of the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
