Hamas calls Israeli expansion of “Yellow Line” in Gaza “serious ceasefire violation”

GAZA, (PIC)

The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation army for moving the “yellow line” several hundred meters westwards inside the Gaza Strip, calling the step a “serious violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

In a video statement, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said the line’s relocation was accompanied by intense gunfire, shelling, and the forced displacement of families, resulting in fatalities in the targeted areas.

Spokesman Qassem slammed the US-led Board of Peace for failing to stop Israel’s ongoing violations in the Gaza Strip, including killings, forced displacements, demolitions, and restrictions on the entry of aid.

The spokesman called on the international community and mediators to take more effective steps to curb Israel’s violations and ensure its respect for the signed agreements.
