The Israeli occupation army’s military operations in the northern West Bank entered day 460 in Tulkarem City and its refugee camp and day 448 in Nur Shams refugee camp on Saturday.

Local sources reported that at dawn, Israeli forces raided several apartments inside the Abu Samen building near Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarem, and kidnaped former prisoner Hazem al‑Ajouz.

The forces also kidnaped Niyaz Jaber, the father of martyr Jihad Jaber, after storming his home near Nur Shams camp.

Meanwhile, Israeli troops raided the al‑Aqsa neighborhood in Tulkarem’s Shuweika suburb, as well as the town of Anabta east of the city.

Amid the ongoing Israeli campaign in Tulkarem, thousands of citizens, who have been forcibly displaced from Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, continue to endure harsh living conditions and are unable to return to their homes.

At the end of last March, the Israeli army decided to extend its campaign in Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps until May 31, 2026.

Also at dawn, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched raids in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the forces stormed al-Dheisha refugee camp and the towns of Teqoa and al‑Khader southeast of Bethlehem, sparking clashes with Palestinian youths at the camp’s entrance.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the al‑Bayader neighborhood in Jenin and fired tear gas at youths.

The IOF raids also targeted the town of Deir Jarir in Ramallah and the town of Beit Ummar in al-Khalil, as well as Qalandia refugee camp and Kafr Aqab town north of Jerusalem, where Israeli forces closed several businesses and obstructed residents’ movement.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Sa’ir north of al-Khalil with several military vehicles, and later withdrew from Silwad town east of Ramallah after conducting search and raid operations.
