IOF raids homes, kidnaps Palestinians in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided homes and kidnaped several Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Monday.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped eight citizens, including seven brothers, after raiding a house in the town of Kafr Qaddum in eastern Qalqilya.

In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped at least five citizens following raids on homes in the towns of Sa’ir, ash-Shuyukh and Beit Ummar.

In Jenin, the IOF stormed the town of al-Yamun and detained several citizens for interrogation.

Many citizens also suffered injuries when Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters in the streets of al-Yamun during clashes with local youths.

In Jerusalem, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that Israeli police forces stormed Qalandia refugee camp and the town of Kafr Aqab, raiding homes and carrying out arrests.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media sources reported that several young men and ex-detainees were kidnaped or detained during overnight and early‑morning raids by Israeli forces in other areas of the West Bank.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces opened fire at a Palestinian young man in the town of al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, injuring him in his leg.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics administered first aid to a wounded young man in al-Ram town before transferring him to the hospital.
