The Israeli occupation army continued its ceasefire violations for the 219th consecutive day on Saturday morning by carrying out artillery shelling and gunfire attacks in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to media sources, an Israeli helicopter opened fire east of al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, amid intensive gunfire from armored vehicles northeast of the camp.
The Israeli army also carried out artillery strikes on Rafah in southern Gaza and detonated buildings east of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, gunboats opened machinegun fire at Gaza City’s coastline, alongside artillery strikes east of the city.
On Friday evening, seven citizens were martyred and at least 50 others were wounded in Israeli airstrikes that targeted an apartment and a vehicle in Gaza City.
Earlier on the same day, one civilian was killed and others were injured when parts of a house, previously damaged by Israeli bombing, collapsed in Gaza City.
Local sources reported that Ahmad Miqdad died after a damaged house collapsed in Gaza City’s al‑Jalaa street.
The Miqdad family had lived in this structurally unsafe house due to the lack of alternatives.
