Four Palestinians were martyred and others were wounded on Sunday in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, while another citizen died of critical injuries sustained in a previous attack, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 220th consecutive day.
According to medical sources, three civilians were killed in an Israeli strike on a charitable kitchen near Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al‑Balah, in central Gaza.
Earlier in the morning, a citizen was killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Karaj Rafah area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Another citizen identified as Jihad Salman died in the morning from wounds sustained in a previous Israeli strike in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army carried out artillery strikes on the eastern and southern areas of Khan Yunis, while its armored vehicles opened fire east and south of the city.
Artillery strikes also targeted the eastern area of al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
