The Israeli occupation army bulldozed swaths of land and structures, and delivered demolition and stop-work orders against several homes in the West Bank province of Bethlehem on Monday.

According to local sources, the Israeli army started today to level swaths of Palestinian-owned land and destroyed stone fences to build a road in the area of Khillet al Husain in southern Bethlehem.

Israeli bulldozers also demolished the ground floor of a residential building under construction belonging to Ahmad Abu al‑Teen in the same area.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces handed Palestinian citizens demolition and stop‑work orders against 15 homes, some inhabited, in the town of Teqoa southeast of Bethlehem, giving them one week to comply.
