Four Palestinian citizens were injured in an attack carried out on Saturday evening by extremist Jewish settlers in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, amid other settler attacks targeting Palestinian communities north of Jericho in the Jordan Valley.

Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra said that a group of armed settlers attacked residents in Wadi al-Rakhim with stones, batons, and pepper spray, injuring four Palestinians.

The victims were rushed to Yatta Hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate.

In the Jordan Valley, settlers attacked the Arab Kaabneh Bedouin community in the west of al-Auja, north of Jericho. They cut a metal fence surrounding the home of Suleiman Kaabneh and filmed livestock inside his barn, according to al-Baidar Human Rights Organization.

The community is home to displaced Palestinians from Arab Kaabneh, who face recurring settler attacks on their property and homes.

In another incident, settlers stormed the Wadi al-Hayyat community in the west of al-Auja, north of Jericho, conducting searches and provocations that included terrorizing children and spreading panic among residents.

Al-Baidar added that settlers searched one of the homes before stealing about 5,000 shekels from the house of Atallah Kaabneh.

The Wadi al-Hayat community, also known as Wadi Abul-Hayyat, is also home to several Palestinian families displaced from Arab Kaabneh.
