A Palestinian ambulance was attacked on Sunday evening by a group of Jewish settlers near the Za’tara checkpoint, south of Nablus.

Ambulance officer Bashar Qaryouti said that the Jewish settlers ambushed a Qaryout ambulance while it was on its way to the hospital near the “Evitar” outpost on Mount Sabih, throwing stones at the vehicle.

He added that the attackers were masked and wearing uniform clothing and deliberately smashed the ambulance’s front windshield, apparently targeting the medical crew.

In a related context, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported that Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,819 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank during March.

It noted that settlers were responsible for 497 of these attacks, concentrated in the governorates of Nablus with 113 attacks, al-Khalil with 110, and Ramallah and al-Bireh with 90 attacks.
