Ongoing violations by Israeli occupation forces of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip since early Sunday have resulted in the killing of three Palestinians and the injury of several civilians, amid a continued tight blockade affecting more than two million Palestinians through the closure of crossings and intensified military measures.
Medical sources reported on Sunday evening that the child Hala Salem Darwish died from injuries she sustained after being shot by Israeli forces east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, in one of the most notable attacks targeting civilians.
In the same context, local sources confirmed that a young man was killed and several others were injured following an Israeli drone strike targeting a motorcycle on Salah al-Din Street northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
The sources also reported that a second young man was also killed earlier in the day after being shot by Israeli forces in the Halawa area of Jabalia in northern Gaza, as a result of direct gunfire in the area.
Meanwhile, artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles continued in the eastern areas of Gaza City and Khan Yunis, accompanied by intensive aerial surveillance.
The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the total death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,551, with 172,274 injured, noting that thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, as rescue teams face difficulty reaching them.
These developments come amid growing ceasefire violations, further worsening the humanitarian situation and threatening the collapse of the truce.
