Jewish settlers destroy olive trees, burn cars in Nablus

Hordes of extremist Jewish settlers destroyed dozens of olive trees and carried out a terrorist arson attack in Nablus in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday.

In al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, settlers wreaked havoc on more than 150 olive trees in the Khan and Wadi Ali areas southeast of the village in the evening.

Such attacks are part of an ongoing settler escalation in the village over the past three days, which has included uprooting hundreds of fruit‑bearing trees and bulldozing dozens of dunums of farmland in the as‑Sahel area, with more than 500 olive and almond trees destroyed.

In another incident, a group of settlers attacked Beit Imrin village, north of Nablus, on Tuesday night, setting fire to two vehicles and attempting to torch a house before residents confronted them and fended them off.

Local sources stated that the attackers came from an outpost established on the village’s land, stormed its outskirts, and started burning property.

Meanwhile, the Red Crescent said its ambulance crews administered first aid to seven people suffering from smoke inhalation, including an infant under one year old, as well as one citizen with first-degree burns.
