One Palestinian civilian was martyred and others were injured on Wednesday in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 195th consecutive day.
Local sources said one civilian was killed and several others were injured when an Israeli drone targeted them as they cleared debris from their home in Jabalia al-Balad, northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Strip witnessed today artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeting several areas in the east and south of the territory.
According to media sources, artillery shelling struck Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood, while areas east and south of Khan Yunis came under intense fire from Israeli armored vehicles and tanks.
In northern Gaza, the vicinity of al-Atatira rotary in Beit Lahia was also targeted, resulting in injuries among displaced people.
