The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at least 25 Palestinians, including a woman, and wounded two young men during raids in different areas of the West Bank last night and on Wednesday morning.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that Israeli forces stormed last night the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, spreading in its neighborhoods, where they carried out raids on several homes.
The PIC reporter added that the IOF kidnaped at least four citizens during its campaign in Qabatiya, which continued into the morning hours.
Among those arrested in Qabatiya were former detainee Izzuddin Abu Mualla and his mother, Sana Zakarnah.
In Tulkarem, two citizens were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in the city’s Iktaba suburb.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces carried out raids on homes in the town of Kafr Qaddum, kidnaping brothers Sami, Luay, and Hani Jum’ah, along with Hani’s son, Bara.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped the father and two brothers of martyr Abdul-Halim Hammad in the town of Silwad, northeast of the city. Hammad was killed at dawn by IOF gunfire in his home after soldiers assaulted him and his family.
One of Hammad’s detained brothers sustained a bullet injury during the violent IOF raid on their home in Silwad.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped at least eight citizens after ransacking homes in the town of Beit Ummar.
The IOF also stormed the refugee camp of al-Arroub in northern al-Khalil and kidnaped a young man from his home, amid clashes with local youths.
A young man was reportedly injured by IOF gunfire in his leg during the events in the refugee camp and was rushed to a hospital in Bethlehem.
In Bethlehem, two young men were kidnaped by the IOF from the areas of Jabel Hindaza and al-Karkafa.
