IOF kidnaps several Palestinians in W. Bank raids

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an arrest campaign in the West Bank on Sunday morning, raiding homes and kidnaping several Palestinian citizens.

According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, the IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes in the village of Arrana northeast of Jenin.

Israeli forces also stormed the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, kidnaping two young brothers after raiding their home and stealing four deer.

In Tulkarem, Israeli forces raided homes in the town of Seida, north of the city, turning some of them into military posts.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces raided al-Deheisha refugee camp and kidnaped journalist Islam Amarneh, 31, along with Fayez Rabai’ah from the town of al‑Ubeidiya to the east, after ransacking their homes. Rabai’ah was recently wounded by IOF gunfire while he was en route to his workplace in Jerusalem.

In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped Amin al‑Haroub, the winning candidate in the municipal elections of Deir Samet, just days after another elected candidate, Atef al‑Awawdeh, was forced to resign.

A young man was also kidnaped in the southern area of al-Khalil, while IOF raids targeted homes in the towns of Sa‘ir and ash‑Shuyukh north of the city.

In Ramallah, kidnaped a child was taken prisoner after breaking into and searching his home in the village of Kafr Malik.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
