A Palestinian young man was shot and injured on Tuesday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him near Tulkarem refugee camp, while a horde of extremist settlers assaulted citizens in Jerusalem.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stationed inside the camp opened fire at the young man as he stood near al‑Balawneh neighborhood, hitting him in the leg. He was taken to the hospital, where his injury was described as moderate.
An Israeli violent campaign has been ongoing in Tulkarem City and its two camps, Tulkarem and Nur Shams, for the 478th consecutive day, where Israeli forces are maintaining a tight siege, seizing homes and using them as military posts after they carried out large-scale demolitions and forcibly expelled residents. Since the operation started, citizens have been barred from returning to their homes inside the camp.
Meanwhile, a group of settlers attacked today Palestinian shepherds in the Hathroura Bedouin community northwest of Occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, such settler attacks are escalating against Palestinian residents and their property in the region.
