A wedding party in Jenin turned chaotic and heartbreaking after Israeli forces stormed a celebration hall and kidnaped the groom in the village of Barta’a, in the occupied West Bank, on Friday evening.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers kidnaped the groom, Yazan Qabha, from among the wedding guests and took him to an unknown location, without providing any legal justification for the action.

In another incident, a group of extremist settlers attacked the village of Masoud, south of Jenin, firing live ammunition indiscriminately at Palestinian homes.

Local sources reported that the gunfire attack triggered widespread panic in the village, particularly among women and children.

In Bethlehem governorate, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) escalated punitive measures against the village of Husan by sealing off its main and secondary entrances.

Rami Hamamra, chief of the Husan village council, said that military bulldozers placed mounds of dirt and big rocks in the al-Shurafa area and at the eastern entrance of the village, completely isolating the village.

He added that the IOF also blocked a vital road in the al-Mashahid area near the western entrance of the village, restricting residents’ movement and preventing them from fulfilling their daily needs.

In the same governorate, Israeli forces raided the town of al-Khader, spreading in the Abu Amous neighborhood and near the conference palace, where they carried out a reconnaissance operation and provoked residents.

Israeli forces also stormed al-Dheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem, where they fired a barrage of tear gas canisters at bustling markets, causing suffocation injuries among shoppers preparing for the Eid al-Adha holiday.

In al-Khalil, extremist settlers stormed the home of Atif Jaber in the Wadi al-Husain area near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba under military protection.

This settler attack coincided with tightened military measures in the Old City of al-Khalil, where Israeli forces closed several streets and restricted Palestinian movement to secure settlers’ movement.

In the Jourat al-Khalil area, dozens of settlers carried out provocative marches and religious practices, interspersed with racist chants and insults against Palestinians.
