‘Israel’ does not have the upper hand against Hezbollah: Hani al-Dali

Hani al-Dali has affirmed that Hezbollah dominates the battle against “Israel”, noting that its technological advancements give it the upper hand in aerial combat.

The expert on Palestinian Resistance affairs, Hani al-Dali, analyzed Hezbollah’s success in downing Israeli drones and the effects it has on the Israeli military, in an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen

Al-Dali explained that Hezbollah is horizontally and vertically expanding its operations in confrontations against “Israel”, and sending the occupation military messages that are reflected on the political scene and the battlefield.

Considering Hezbollah’s practical behavior, al-Dali stated that “its military actions rush to exhibit its superiority against the occupation’s military, showing that it is improving its position and testing its land and aerial defenses.”

Why does Hezbollah publish footage of its operations?

The expert also noted that the footage Hezbollah publishes of Israeli drones being shot down proves that the Resistance possesses advanced interception technologies that contain early alert systems that allow it to discover aerial targets, and assist it in visualizing and estimating the aerial position in an advanced way.

Al-Dali further noted that Hezbollah’s published visuals showcase “its advanced air defenses that facilitate the targeting of advanced drones, particularly the extremely advanced and expensive Hermes 900, which is considered “Israel’s” shooting star.” Moreover, they prove that “Israel” does not have any upper hand in aerial combat or reconnaissance and that they obstruct its ability to gather intel on Resistance leadership, factions, and capabilities.

“The footage also impacts the morale of the enemy and the Israeli [settler] society, as opposed to boosting that of the Lebanese resistance and its supporters,” al-Dali concluded.

Hezbollah downs a Hermes 450 drone

Hezbollah announced on Sunday evening that it had successfully downed an Israeli 450 drone over al-Aishiya area in southern Lebanon at 10:50 pm.

Later, a spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army admitted that an Israeli drone was downed over Lebanon after it was hit by a surface-to-air missile.

The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that a surface-to-air missile was fired at an unmanned Israeli Air Force aircraft that was flying in Lebanon’s airspace, confirming a direct hit

The newspaper revealed that an investigation into the incident is underway, noting that this Israeli drone that Hezbollah shot down tonight marks the fifth to be downed since the beginning of the war.
