Five Palestinian citizens, including a child, were martyred and others were injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.

According to media sources, four citizens, including a child and a police officer, were killed when an Israeli warplane bombed a police vehicle in Gaza City.

Gaza’s interior ministry said one police officer and three civilians, one of them a child, were killed and nine other people, including police officers and passersby, were injured, some critically, in an Israeli airstrike.

The ministry explained that a warplane targeted a police vehicle belonging to the al‑Tuffah and al‑Daraj police station during a routine patrol in Gaza City earlier today.

This morning, medical sources reported that a martyr was brought to Al‑Shifa Hospital following an Israeli strike in the al‑Alami area in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out a large-scale demolition operation targeting citizens’ homes and buildings inside Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, accompanied by artillery strikes on the eastern areas of Gaza City.

Armored vehicles and tanks positioned along the eastern edge of the central governorate also opened heavy machinegun fire towards areas in central Gaza.
