One Palestinian civilian was martyred and others were injured on Thursday in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, amid ceasefire violations persisting for the 196th consecutive day.
Medical sources reported that the young man, Yehya Abu Shalhoub, was martyred and three others were injured after an Israeli drone targeted a group of citizens in the al-Maslakh area of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
Another civilian was seriously wounded in a drone strike that targeted the Bani Suheila rotary east of Khan Yunis.
An unknown number of people also sustained injuries when Israeli forces opened fire towards Halawa refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army also carried out attacks in other areas of Gaza, with no reported casualties.
