IOF kidnaps dozens of Palestinians in W. Bank and J’lem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank and Jerusalem, kidnaping dozens of Palestinian citizens from their homes last night and at dawn Thursday.

According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped a young man after ransacking his apartment in Nablus City’s Sufyan Street.

Israeli forces also raided homes in other areas of Nablus, including the city’s Ras al-Ein neighborhood and the village of Surra, without making arrests.

In southern Jenin, the IOF kidnaped a young man from his home in the town of Fandaqumiya.

The IOF also detained a number of citizens after raiding their homes in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin.

In Tulkarem, two young brothers were taken prisoner following an IOF raid on their home in the city’s eastern neighborhood.

Israeli soldiers also seized a house in Anabta, a town in Tulkarem, turning it into a military post and interrogation center, where dozens of young men were reportedly detained.

In Qalqilya, Israeli forces kidnaped and detained a number of citizens, including ex-detainees, following raids on homes in the neighborhoods of Saba and Sharim.

In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed different areas and towns, and kidnaped a citizen and his two kids during a raid in the town of Beit Fajjar.

In al-Khalil, 10 citizens, including a woman, were kidnaped and others were detained for a while following IOF raids in different areas of the province.

In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces kidnaped a young Palestinian man last night after intercepting the car he was driving in the industrial zone of the Wadi al-Joz neighborhood.

According to local sources, Israeli forces surrounded the vehicle, pointed their guns at the young man’s family members who were with him, and then took him into custody.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem last night and on Thursday morning, with no reported arrests.
