A horde of extremist Jewish settlers cut down hundreds of olive trees in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, in a new attack targeting Palestinian agricultural property in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that settlers from the illegal Adi Ad settlement destroyed about 400 olive trees in the Turmus Ayya plain.
This attack comes just days after settlers burned a house and a vehicle in the same town.
In a related context, the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said that Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,819 attacks in the West Bank during the month of March, describing them as part of a “systematic terrorism policy” used against Palestinians
